Krabi Mini Trip

Mirri is visiting, and that means a quick one day trip to catch a few nearby sights. She hasn't done the Phang-nga Kayak Tours yet, and with the baby we cannot take her to go, but she can see the view across the bay.

This means road trip!

The plan is... a quick lunch at Phang Nga viewpoint, take the baby to see Dairy Hut Farm and let her feed the animals, get a nice hotel in Ao Nang beach, have some beach time, then an evening meal next to the sea. The next day, we'll do the Tiger Cave temple and maybe hot springs.

Plans are nice, but when we're at the viewpoint, a tour arrives, and service is slow. The quick lunch becomes a slow slow lunch. As the tour gets a cooking lesson, and food tasting at the viewpoint.

OK, we do less.

We still managed to fit in Dairy Hut, the baby got to see some animals, and feed the sheep, and be a little afraid of the ostrich. A short stop-over for her.

We found a hotel room, not far from the beach, with a decent pool for us to swim in.

And a good evening meal next to the beach, there are plenty of restaurants at Ao Nang beach, suitable for families, and we chose Seafood Street again. Look at how small the baby was back then. It's difficult to accept that was only a year ago.

As every Krabi is a great place for a visit. But we didn't really do it justice with a two day trip.
