I decided to explore what looks like a new reservoir being built above Chalong Bay in Phuket. As I drove around the backroads, I stumbled upon this place.
It's a homestay, (the Thai version of a guesthouse, bed and breakfast, or gite), with a view across Chalong bay, and Chalong temple below.
I had lunch there too, and thoroughly enjoyed it. Those chicken wraps have an unusual wasabi dipping sauce. That coconut cream curry is delicious.
The homestay too was quite cheap, low-season prices are 800 baht a night, for an air-conditioned room, with Wifi, fridge and most of all, a balcony with view across Chalong bay. A lot of tourist things are in Chalong bay, Xtreme Adventures, the climbing, zip line camp is near here. A jungle elephant ride, and a snake farm are also nearby.
